I had the pleasure of coordinating a healing circle with Mariam Al Awadi in December 2023. Mariam was incredibly easy to work with, a gracious partner and a capable professional. She led our group of approximately 30 young women between the ages of 13 -30 years of age through a 3 hour session based on empathy, cultural sensitivity and spiritual competence. She facilitated a comfortable and respectful environment for the group to share thoughts, feelings and vulnerabilities. Most notably, Mariam was able to employ an interdisciplinary lens to offer faith-specific lenses, strategies, and exercises that resonated well with our group. I’m truly thankful for Mariam’s leadership, professionalism and empathetic approach - I cannot recommend her and Nur Wellness enough!
